I took a chance and ate something completely off protocol (but still very close to it) last night for dinner. Nicole and I went to San Bernardino to see my mom in the hospital and stopped for dinner at BJ’s afterwords. We made the best possible decision we could giving our options. We had the Chicken A La Fresca which is on their 575 calorie or less menu. It comes with Rice pilaf which we nixed and added more veggies. it was drizzled with a light Dijon tarragon jus and tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. Let me tell you it was SO good! Maybe TOO good because I had a bad feeling about today’s weigh in. The only things that weren’t on protocol was the mushrooms, squash, and carrots (I didn’t eat the carrots) and the dressing. So all in all.. not too bad.
I woke up feeling quite a bit lighter today.. my stomach feels like it is already shrinking and doesn’t feel as full all the time. I don’t feel as bloaty also. I can SEE it in my stomach already in the mirror. It is a good feeling. Not eating all the sugars, heavy fats and proccessed foods really does make all the difference in the world when it comes to your well being. I wish I could get this through my thick head when I’m NOT on protocol. Someday I’ll learn.

Not the biggest loss I have had, but I can’t say I’m surprised. Acutally, I am surprised I lost anything this weigh in. :)

Round 3 hCG ~ VLCD Day 19

Day 19 weigh in ~ 176.2 (-.8 lbs from previous day) (-13 lbs from R3 Starting weight of 189.2) (From beginning 1st round at 222.4 (-46.2 lbs) From highest at 262.2 (-86 total lbs)

Water… that’s the trick to making the scale move while on hCG. Not sure why I can’t get that through my thick skull. I drank alot of liquids yesterday. Water included… and somehow I knew the scale was going to move this morning… **AMBER DRINK MORE WATER** There are so many benefits to it, but for some reason… I just don’t drink it.

Day 5 weigh in ~ 184 (-.6 lbs from previous day) (-5.2 lbs from R3 Starting weight of 189.2) (From beginning 1st round at 222.4 (-38.4 lbs) From highest at 262.2 (-78.2 lbs)

Small loss, but it’s to be expected after the first few days. The end total is what really counts. I felt a bit hungry yesterday morning, but today so far I am feeling good.

Wow, big drop! exciting… I am closer to the 170’s than I am to the 190’s now.. AND I’ve past my lowest weight.

I went shopping for a outfit that I wanted to wear for my friends birthday party on Friday. I had it set in my mind that I wanted to wear a dress… and damn it I wasn’t gonna settle for less. My legs are still big (I am pear shaped and carry almost all my weight on my lower half) but I want to go outside of my comfort zone. So I bought a dress… it’s tight… it’s black.. and it’s HOT. I need to wear something on my legs and have to keep searching for the perfect match up. I gotta hurry because the party is tomorrow night… gah.

I hope you are doing well on your journey. I am so proud of my co-workers… they have followed suit and are doing fabulously! My boss is on her second round and has lost 25+ pounds (she is on my schedule) My co-worker started this round with us and so far in 4 days has lost over 8 pounds! She is super happy…

Round 3 hCG ~ VLCD Day 2

Day 2 weigh in ~ 190.8 (-5.6 previous day) (+1.6 from R3 Start) (Beginning 1st round 222.4 (-31.6 lbs) Highest 262.2 (-71.4 lbs)

Here’s where the good part happens, when I start to see the weight drop. I lost almost all of my “Loading” weight (Thank GOD) but am still up a bit from my end weight. I know that the majority of the weight gained from “Loading” is not “real” fat weight and is why I say never be afraid of what the scale says after those first two days.

Yesterday, I didn’t have any true hunger. I did miss some foods… and felt myself wanting them (I had to remind myself that I couldn’t eat them because I almost forgot on several occasions that I had began Phase 2) I added Miracle Noodles to my dinner yesterday and if they don’t stall me in this phase think they are going to be a GREAT addition! I ate them like Ramen Noodles, I added celery salt, garlic salt, and onion powder to boiling water and they tasted surprisingly close to them!

Beginning my second day…. wish me luck :)

YES! I avoided the dreaded “apple day”! Was VERY surprised too, I was almost positive I was gonna have to do it today.

I REALLY didn’t want to eat dinner yesterday though, maybe it was because I had a late lunch? So I ate my Melba Toast and an orange and called it a night, I didn’t want anything else :/

Well, gotta go to work… bla.

Will I see ONEderland again tomorrow? This time, I am going to get WAY under so I wont see the TWO’z again. I’m tired of the TWOz.. Like my friend Nikki said in her last video… “I want a season pass to there! (in my case ONEderland)”

Day 30 - VLCD

Weight 201.8 (-0.4 lb loss) Total -20.6 loss

Today is my first day off the HCG drops. I need to continue to eat VLC today and tomorrow, or it is likely that I will gain because the HCG is still on my system. I feel good, so far not really hungry… But I didn’t even eat until 3:00 pm.

Weight 203.2 (-1 lb loss) Total - 19.2 lbs

Highest weight 262.2 (-59 pounds total!)

Highest BMI= 46.4 (severely obese)

begin HCG BMI= 39.4

current BMI= 36.0

Goal BMI= 24.8 (140 pounds)

A pound! YES! let’s keep the momentum for the next 4 days and I will be extremely happy! Only .6 pounds to go till I officially lost 20 pounds in ONE MONTH! how amazingly awesome is that!!!? I know that as long as I keep the weight off during the 6 weeks off the drops that I will FOR SURE be doing this again.
