Ugh… haven’t updated. END round 4

So yeah… I have been MIA…

I only lost 12 pounds this round… can’t say I’m completely surprised. Being that I am close to goal, new EVERYTHING in life kinda got in my way (including the new BF). It’s hard to not want to go out to eat with him, I did manage to keep the side tracking to a minimum (not weighing, and eating veggies that weren’t quite on protocol where my main infractions)… but hey whatever.

I also officially ended my VLCD part of the round about 2 (but slacking off before that) days early just because the scale wasn’t budging! To tell you the truth, I think I lost most (or all) the weight in the first 2 weeks! (perhaps because I’m close to goal?) I dunno. 

I’m also semi disappointed with the stabilizing thus far. 5 pounds up from my end (and only 5 days in!) once again.. my fault. I won’t get into the logistics. But, needless to say, I am doing a “steak day” today to push some of that down again. MY FAULT MY FAULT MY FAULT! I won’t let this get to me though… just time to get back focused! 

On the plus side… I joined the gym again! I’ve been already 2 days within the past 3 days of being a member. I hope to tone some of this up… It’s not BAD.. but it can be improved :) I’ve been wearing lots of strapless dresses and shirts and feeling great about it! Also, I have been attempting to wear shorter dresses (sometimes with leggings and once without) with the leggings I feel good… still not too sure of without. I think I need to get a tan before i attempt that again.. LOL.

So here are my final stats for the VLCD:

  • Arm: 13 (no change this round :( 
  • Waist: 29 (-1 inch this round :)

Overall… pretty damn good! I’m fitting loosly into a size 14, but not quite comfortable in a 12. I wear a size medium dress and shirt. Right now.. I am happy. My next round MIGHT be a short round (3 weeks maybe?) we’ll see. But first I have to struggle and keeping this weight down for the next 5 1/2 weeks. I can do it! I’m not new to this.. I know what I’m doing.. now to just put it all to work.

*cover your ears guys* My period is about to start in two days, *okay you can uncover them now* So I hope this isn’t it for me this round. If it is, I am okay with that… but I really hope it’s not. I wanted to be out of the 170’s by the end of the round. One last push for victory Amber.

Only 4 days remaining on Phase 2… let the countdown begin :D

Round 3 hCG ~ VLCD Day 23

More stalling… I am so disappointed, but what can I do? I haven’t deviated in the least, besides the lack of food and water yesterday, everything’s been perfect! Meh… all I can do is do my best and stay on track and when my body wants to respond it will.

I am trying to give it a little boost today by doing a apple day. It’s really hard because I am at family’s house today and there is ALOT of goooooood food, but I am staying focused. The compliments and utter shock at my weight loss these past couple of days from friends and family that hasn’t seen me in a while is enough to keep my head p and keep me focused.

I’m not sure how accurate my weigh in is going to be tommorrow since I am not weighing in at home. My brother has a scale, but weighing in on another scale is not always so accurate.

Water… that’s the trick to making the scale move while on hCG. Not sure why I can’t get that through my thick skull. I drank alot of liquids yesterday. Water included… and somehow I knew the scale was going to move this morning… **AMBER DRINK MORE WATER** There are so many benefits to it, but for some reason… I just don’t drink it.

Round 3 hCG ~ VLCD Day 12

small gain. I hate these days, but I know they are bound to happen. I can deal with it and stay focused… that’s what’s important.

When I first started my whole weight loss journey back in January of 2008 at 262.2 pounds, one of my several reasons I wanted to lose weight was so that I didn’t have to obsess about weight or food anymore. I have come to the realization that this is never going to happen. No matter how thin I become, my weight will always be at the for-front of my mind. I will always obsess about what is going into my mouth. (no dirty thoughts ;)

When I was 262 pounds, I obsessed about losing weight. I am now at 179 pounds and obsess about getting to goal. When I get to goal… I will obsess about staying there. The scale will always be my husband, we will have our good times, and our bad.. but he will always live in my house even if I wish he would leave. I will see him everyday, and step all over him until he tells me what I want to hear. We are companions for life, I have accepted that.

I am genetically proportioned to have large thighs, wide hips, and a big butt… I’ve learned to accept it. Even if I get to my goal of 125-140 pounds… this will always be the case.

I think that when I have both cottage cheese and shrimp in a single day it causes a stall. This has happened before… so I won’t be doing that anymore.

My mind set is in a good place so far this round. I don’t let the small gains or the maintains frustrate me… Guess that comes with working the program 3 times over. It helps alot that I have friends doing this along with me from work. Very little temptation on that part.

OMG… I didn’t even realize it until right this moment as I was typing this out… I have lost a GRAND total of 80 pounds so far during my entire weight loss journey! Yes, it has been a slow process.. but I am doing it! Words can’t express my joy at this moment!


I have also been keeping something under my belt I didn’t want to mention until I saw success in this round… I am now selling hCG and have my own website! http://yourhcgsuccess.com … It is still a work in progress, but it is up and running and am excited about starting that. (no I do not make it myself, I get it from a whole-seller, but am testing it now and obviously having success!) So.. with all confidence I can now endorse and sell it :D Also, another great thing is that it is WATER based and is tasteless… if you already take hCG you know that it has alcohol in it and .. well to be honest… tastes a little yuck…

Wow, big drop! exciting… I am closer to the 170’s than I am to the 190’s now.. AND I’ve past my lowest weight.

I went shopping for a outfit that I wanted to wear for my friends birthday party on Friday. I had it set in my mind that I wanted to wear a dress… and damn it I wasn’t gonna settle for less. My legs are still big (I am pear shaped and carry almost all my weight on my lower half) but I want to go outside of my comfort zone. So I bought a dress… it’s tight… it’s black.. and it’s HOT. I need to wear something on my legs and have to keep searching for the perfect match up. I gotta hurry because the party is tomorrow night… gah.

I hope you are doing well on your journey. I am so proud of my co-workers… they have followed suit and are doing fabulously! My boss is on her second round and has lost 25+ pounds (she is on my schedule) My co-worker started this round with us and so far in 4 days has lost over 8 pounds! She is super happy…

Round 3 hCG ~ VLCD Day 2

Day 2 weigh in ~ 190.8 (-5.6 previous day) (+1.6 from R3 Start) (Beginning 1st round 222.4 (-31.6 lbs) Highest 262.2 (-71.4 lbs)

Here’s where the good part happens, when I start to see the weight drop. I lost almost all of my “Loading” weight (Thank GOD) but am still up a bit from my end weight. I know that the majority of the weight gained from “Loading” is not “real” fat weight and is why I say never be afraid of what the scale says after those first two days.

Yesterday, I didn’t have any true hunger. I did miss some foods… and felt myself wanting them (I had to remind myself that I couldn’t eat them because I almost forgot on several occasions that I had began Phase 2) I added Miracle Noodles to my dinner yesterday and if they don’t stall me in this phase think they are going to be a GREAT addition! I ate them like Ramen Noodles, I added celery salt, garlic salt, and onion powder to boiling water and they tasted surprisingly close to them!

Beginning my second day…. wish me luck :)

Begin round 4

I haven’t left you…. still going strong. Today I begin three weeks of round 4 where I slowly add back carbs. I am going to stay AWAY from french fries… they are a gateway food for me. I will save them for my two “Loading” days.

So far, my weight has been fluctuating between 185-188. I have had to do 2 steak days during round 3. I hate them, but they are necessary.

Hope you’re still with me. :D
