Did I forget to post yesterday? or did I post wrong? bleh… oh well.
Believe it or not.. It IS possible to eat out while on Phase 2 of the hCG protocol (and still lose) This was yesterday at a fast food restaurant that I frequent when I work in San Bernardino. Yes, it is not as tasty as a juicy hamburger, fries, and a soda.. but it’s fuel for my body, and is what is helping me continue to lose weight… even better, inches.
I won’t lie… this shit is H.A.R.D. … when my stomach is grumbling and I am out and about with the BF, or getting my daughter food… sometimes I just wanna say EF IT and eat a hamburger, or burrito, or.. (you get my drift) but then I have to say to myself “Amber… ____ more days, you will be skinnier, healthier, happier… keep focus” .. and ya know what? It works. I haven’t gave in to temptation and I’m proud of myself.. and the scale is rewarding me accordingly.
So today I lost 1.6 pounds! (WOOHOO!) NICE loss. which brings me down to 183.6 (creeping out of the 180’s!) but even MORE importantly.. this morning I took my measurements and I am down 1 inch in my waist, 2 inches in my hips, and 1 inch in my thigh!!! (and this after not even 10 pounds!) this is exciting.. and keeps me motivated.
4/19/2012 Day 10: Yesterday’s WI: 185.2 / Today’s WI 183.6 / -1.6 from previous day / -9.4 from round start / -78.6 from heaviest / +22.6 from lowest.
Came across this photo from back in 2008. I had JUST started to do any attempts of losing weight. I don’t even think I was still at my highest at this point. God willing I will never see this again.
I have the tools… I know what I have to do to keep it down. Today want a very good weigh in… But what do ya do right? Give up? HELL NO! I just tighten my eating up. Today I didn’t eat anything off protocol so hoping for a bit larger weight loss tomorrow.

Day 6: Nice loss today! Didn’t know what to expect because last night I had 3 shots of vodka mixed in seltzer water. I tested my ketones in the middle of the night and it wasn’t showing trace… But when I woke up and tested again I was still in ketosis.
Usually 3 shots of vodka would just give me a slight buzz, but eating only 500 calories a day I was pretty buzzed after just the first drink! So you can imagine how I was feeling after 3.
Truth be told I didn’t eat dinner last night. I did eat my apple and Melba Toast, but was out and about until late after drinks and just didn’t feel like trying to figure out something to eat. Wasn’t hungry, but I know I should NOT do this, and I don’t on a regular basis.
Had a Starbucks coffee this morning that gave me a stomach ache, asked for one cream and the coffee tasted real thick. Wasn’t good at all…bleck. So now I am spending my day off lounging on the couch watching a ”Sex and the City” marathon waiting for my stomach to feel better so I can start cleaning this damn house. :)

Sorry, I’m in the process of moving and I do not have Internet as of yet…. Life has been hectic. I will continue to post on my phone…as often as I can until I’m connected again.
During Gorge I GAINED about 8 pounds!!! I did something right because I am not hungry in the least bit as of yet. :D I don’t even feel like I’m REALLY on this diet… Woohoo!
My bloat from the gorge is almost gone and I’m almost down to my R4 starting weight!
It works… IF YOU WORK IT!!!!!

Last day! Thank God! I’m REALLY over it and have been for the past week. I stuck to it though and made it to the end.
Went shopping for some interview pants yesterday… I am firmly in a size 14. A size 16 is now too big! :D I also found this jacket that was utterly surprised it fit on my arms… AND it zipped up! I would have got it if it were real leather, but to spend that amount on whatever “PU” means wasn’t going to happen.
I did decide however that when I get to my goal… My gift to myself is going to be an awesome leather jacket. It’s really an investment.
I will do my final weigh in and measurements tomorrow :)

EVERYONE is noticing my weight loss these past couple days. I must be at a sweet spot of my weight loss. I smile inside every-time someone notices.

*cover your ears guys* My period is about to start in two days, *okay you can uncover them now* So I hope this isn’t it for me this round. If it is, I am okay with that… but I really hope it’s not. I wanted to be out of the 170’s by the end of the round. One last push for victory Amber.

I made a orange steak salad yesterday for dinner… the orange made it yummy!
Gah… so close to 160’s AND to 20 pounds lost. Scale don’t fail me now. With only 5 days left to go on VLCD I see the light. My weight loss has been steady these past couple days so I’m not gonna mess up what I have been doing. I have the potencial to lose at least 2-3 more pounds if I keep losing .6-.8 pounds per day.
I found this picture on my friends computer yesterday that was taken about a year ago. I was probably about 220 pounds or so. I looked a hot mess and have no idea why she took that picuture of me, but I wanted to REMAKE that picture to see the difference…I will remake it again when i get to goal. LOOK!
I see a HUGE difference in my hips and my waist. I didn’t realize the difference until I put on the same pants and shirt I was wearing at the time the first pic was taken. It makes me happy, I couldn’t stop staring at it last night before bed. Does that make me neurotic?

Yup… officially down 90 pounds from my all time highest weight…. VERY exciting! :D
I think I am going to do an apple day today, weight loss has been a little slow the past couple days… (.2), (.4)… GAH. I don’t feel I HAVE to, but I do want to get under the 170’s by the end of this protocol, and time is a wasting. Next Tuesday I begin No Sugar, No Starch… CAN’T wait! I have SO much I wanna make :D
Still 2.3 pounds till I make my round goal…. LET’S GO!
More stalling… I am so disappointed, but what can I do? I haven’t deviated in the least, besides the lack of food and water yesterday, everything’s been perfect! Meh… all I can do is do my best and stay on track and when my body wants to respond it will.
I am trying to give it a little boost today by doing a apple day. It’s really hard because I am at family’s house today and there is ALOT of goooooood food, but I am staying focused. The compliments and utter shock at my weight loss these past couple of days from friends and family that hasn’t seen me in a while is enough to keep my head p and keep me focused.
I’m not sure how accurate my weigh in is going to be tommorrow since I am not weighing in at home. My brother has a scale, but weighing in on another scale is not always so accurate.
