VLCD Day 11: My entire day was eating out. Sometimes that’s just where the day leads. Started with coffee from Starbucks in the a.m. (Black 2 sweet n low) Then came Lunch…El Pollo Loco grilled chicken salad (nix the tortilla strips, corn, and cheese) covered in pico de gallo and chili roja salsa. I had a diet soda also (a treat to myself) followed by dinner with the BF at TGI Fridays. Started with a shared shrimp cocktail for appetizer… for the main course I had a petite sirloin with double broccoli hold the butter. I also had 2 rum and diet cokes with dinner :) once on a while this is okay…. Just don’t make a habit of it.
All my clothes that I had to dig out of the closet (because my smaller clothes were beginning not to fit me again) are starting to become loose on me again. My BF even mentoned that my pants look baggy around the behind area and they aren’t hugging my curves like they usually do… (obviously I know what HE was looking at as I was walking away ;) ) Now for the fun part…stats.
4/20/2012: Yesterday’s WI: 183.6 / Today’s WI 182.4 / -1.2 from previous day / -10.6 from round start / -79.8 from heaviest / +21.4 from lowest.
Day 7 weigh in ~ 168 (-1.4 lbs from lowest weight of 169.4) (-5 lbs from R4 Starting weight of 173) (-54.4 lbs From beginning 1st round at 222.4 (-94.2 total lbs from highest at 262.2)
Weight loss is a little slower then usual… But I expected this. It’s also “that time of the month” so…. Yeeeeah.
Thus far, it has been the easiest round. I’m not feeling at all deprived or hungry. I got so busy yesterday I forgot to cook dinner, so I just had an apple and a melba toast and called it a night.
Beginning weigh in after maintenance 173. End of round 3 weigh in ~ 169.4 (+3.6 lbs gain during maintenance) (-49.4 lbs From beginning 1st round at 222.4 (-89.2 total lbs from highest at 262.2)
Only 3.6 up from my lowest? Not too bad! I did do a steak day yesterday however to bring my weight back down a bit before the beginning. I got up to 177 :O .. The important part is… I’m back doing it again.
I strategically planned my two loading days to land on my birthday and the day after (you know, for left over cake :D ) So yes, that would be today… HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEE.
It’s gonna take some getting used to blogging again, but it keeps me motivated so I will try my best to blog everyday during protocol.
My goal for this round is 20 pounds, that would bring me to 153… SO CLOSE TO GOAL! I know it will be a little harder to reach the 20 this time because I am so close to my goal of 145… but I will make every attempt to reach it. If I only lose 15 during this round… I won’t beat myself up over it.
Done. Finished. Finito.
What a long 36 days. But I’m at the other side and it feels good. The point two weight loss this morning brings me to a loss of 20 pounds this round exactly.
I have found what works for me, and I work it. There has been nothing as successful as this has been. When I am on plan, I do not faulter, I do not cheat, I do not give up because I know, that even though I can’t eat the foods I want to now… they are not gone from my life forever. When I reach my goal, I will be happier then I can imaging. My life is changing dramatically.. I am growing.. and I love it. Life is somehow…. different.

Apple days never let me down :)
Today WOULD have been my last day… but I extended it 6 days so 6 days to go! Next Tuesday I get to eat semi-normal again! So excited for that… :))
I am finally okay with my body size. Yes, I can stand to still lose weight, no, I’m not perfect… no I’m not to my goal… but I feel good about myself. I can fit into “regular” size clothing. Large instead of Xtra Large. Regular pants, instead of Plus Size pants. I’m getting TONS of compliments from people I haven’t seen in a while, and that feels great.
I think this diet has been a God Send for me, and I hope anyone who tries it finds the same results I have.

Yup… officially down 90 pounds from my all time highest weight…. VERY exciting! :D
I think I am going to do an apple day today, weight loss has been a little slow the past couple days… (.2), (.4)… GAH. I don’t feel I HAVE to, but I do want to get under the 170’s by the end of this protocol, and time is a wasting. Next Tuesday I begin No Sugar, No Starch… CAN’T wait! I have SO much I wanna make :D
Still 2.3 pounds till I make my round goal…. LET’S GO!
Today’s weigh in is tentative (again) since I am not at home and weighing in at my cousin’s house. Only 9 days remaining on Phase 2… and I can’t be more ecstatic! This has been an extremely long round, and I’m really getting over it… But I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I went to Knott’s Berry Farm a couple days ago again, and this time it was SO much easier! Why? I prepared! brought plenty of water and packed a lunch that was easy to keep and eat cold. I bought real packaged crab meat I found at Walmart a couple rounds ago… I wrapped it in cabbage and brought an orange and melba toast. wala… lunch. PREPARE! I can’t say it enough….
creeping out of the 170’s… come on body… HURRY! My goal was to be out of the 170’s by the end of this round…

Not sure on the accuracy on this since I weighed in on someone else’s scale. I’ll take it however.

So I felt as though I was FAR behind on weight loss comparing to my previous rounds, but yesterday I went back to my blogs and found that I am almost perfectly on track! I am a little behind, but very close. Last Round on day 18 I was 13 pounds down, and in Round 1 Day 18 I was 15 pounds down. This is why I love to blog everyday while I’m on protocol… I can go back and see that I’m doing just GREAT! :D
Went out to eat for the first time on protocol this round. Went to a little diner, and had a steak (spit it with a friend) cooked in NO BUTTER or OIL, and a side salad with red wine vinegar. I also had like a billion black teas with S&L. Since you can’t weigh your meat before they serve it to you, you kinda have to eye-ball it. I might of went slightly over, but it felt good to eat out.
