&lt;p&gt;Day 20: Sorry I missed a couple days, got kinda busy. So I’ll break it down for you. Apple day went well. I lost 2.2 pounds bringing me down to 180.2, then… I stalled the next day. A little set back and let down…. Moving on. This morning I dropped a pound… (thank GOD) bringing me back into the 170’s! YAY! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Also, my friend whom I am doing this with and I have decided to cut the diet short about a week doing a 25 day round instead of a 30. We both have a lot going on next weekend where being on this is going to be tough… And we aren’t losing tons anyways, so ya know. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My goal this round went from 20 pounds to at LEAST 15… But of course the more the better. I would like to be at 175… But I don’t know if that can happen or not. I can try!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Day 14 &amp; 15: yesterday’s weigh in was bad. Very bad. But I know it wasnt actual FAT gain because with the amount of calories in eating it would be impossible. But, I did have a Chipotle salad which was probably high on Sodium… But still very low in calories. here’ the breakdown:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Steak 190&lt;br/&gt;
Lettuce 20&lt;br/&gt;
Red tomatillo chili x2  80&lt;br/&gt;
Fajita veggies 20&lt;br/&gt;
Pico de gallo  20&lt;br/&gt;
Total= 340&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So… Whatever. With 15 days left if I can lose the same amount I have already o will be a little over 20 pounds lost. Focus Amber… Focus. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Yesterday was just a normal day. El Pollo Loco chicken salad for dinner with one pico de gallo and one salsa roja. Oh… And I had two small pieces of BBQ’d chicken at the BF’s house with home made pico de gallo. No excitement here. &lt;/p&gt;

I knew what it was though… The night before I ate a large steak BBQ’ed by the Bf and it was late in the evening… I’m sure it still weighed on me the morning after. Moving on. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Yesterday I was in unfamiliar territory where I had to grab something quick to eat in a hurry and get back to work for an appointment. my choices were TacoBell: nothing hCG compatible / Applebee’s: no time  / Subway: over it / Panda Express: hmmmm I wonder. So I went in with HOPES they had something I can make due with. Rice and chow mien were COMPLETELY out of the question. Everything besides the steamed veggies seemed to be cover with some sort of carb and calorie filled gravy of some sort. So my last option was to just start looking at the calories. Beef and Broccoli only had 190 calories per serving! So… That’s what I got.. A medium side of B&amp;B for a total of about 380 calories. It will have to do. When eating out gets easier… The diet gets easier. I skipped dinner since I already was pretty much at my calorie limit for the day and had an orange and Melba toast instead… BTW: navel oranges are SO juicy right now!! *drool*&lt;/p&gt;

Sometimes that’s just where the day leads. Started with coffee from &lt;strong&gt;Starbucks&lt;/strong&gt; in the a.m. (Black 2 sweet n low) Then came Lunch…&lt;strong&gt;El Pollo Loco&lt;/strong&gt; grilled chicken salad (nix the tortilla strips, corn, and cheese) covered in pico de gallo and chili roja salsa. I had a diet soda also (a treat to myself) followed by dinner with the BF at &lt;strong&gt;TGI Fridays.&lt;/strong&gt; Started with a shared shrimp cocktail for appetizer… for the main course I had a petite sirloin with double broccoli hold the butter. I also had 2 rum and diet cokes with dinner :) once on a while this is okay…. Just don’t make a habit of it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All my clothes that I had to dig out of the closet (because my smaller clothes were beginning not to fit me again) are starting to become loose on me again. My BF even mentoned that my pants look baggy around the behind area and they aren’t hugging my curves like they usually do… (obviously I know what HE was looking at as I was walking away ;)  ) Now for the fun part…stats.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Believe it or not.. &lt;strong&gt;It IS possible to eat out while on Phase 2&lt;/strong&gt; of the hCG protocol (and still lose) This was yesterday at a fast food restaurant that I frequent when I work in San Bernardino. Yes, it is not as tasty as a juicy hamburger, fries, and a soda.. but it’s fuel for my body, and is what is helping me continue to lose weight… even better, inches.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I won’t lie… &lt;strong&gt;this shit is H.A.R.D&lt;/strong&gt;. … when my stomach is grumbling and I am out and about with the BF, or getting my daughter food… sometimes I just wanna say EF IT and eat a hamburger, or burrito, or.. (you get my drift) but then I have to say to myself “Amber… ____ more days, you will be skinnier, healthier, happier… keep focus” .. and ya know what? It works. I haven’t gave in to temptation and I’m proud of myself.. and the scale is rewarding me accordingly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So today I lost &lt;strong&gt;1.6 pounds!&lt;/strong&gt; (WOOHOO!) NICE loss. which brings me down to 183.6 &lt;strong&gt;(creeping out of the 180’s!) &lt;/strong&gt;but even &lt;strong&gt;MORE&lt;/strong&gt; importantly.. this morning I took my measurements and I am down &lt;strong&gt;1 inch in my waist, 2 inches in my hips, and 1 inch in my thigh!!!&lt;/strong&gt; (and this after not even 10 pounds!) this is exciting.. and keeps me motivated.&lt;/p&gt;

I tested my ketones in the middle of the night and it wasn’t showing trace… But when I woke up and tested again I was still in ketosis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Usually 3 shots of vodka would just give me a slight buzz, but eating only 500 calories a day I was pretty buzzed after just the first drink! So you can imagine how I was feeling after 3. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Truth be told I didn’t eat dinner last night. I did eat my apple and Melba Toast, but was out and about until late after drinks and just didn’t feel like trying to figure out something to eat. Wasn’t hungry, but I know I should NOT do this, and I don’t on a regular basis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Had a Starbucks coffee this morning that gave me a stomach ache, asked for one cream and the coffee tasted real thick. Wasn’t good at all…bleck. So now I am spending my day off lounging on the couch watching a ”Sex and the City” marathon waiting for my stomach to feel better so I can start cleaning this damn house. :)&lt;/p&gt;

Nicole and I went to San Bernardino to see my mom in the hospital and stopped for dinner at BJ’s afterwords. We made the best possible decision we could giving our options. We had the &lt;strong&gt;Chicken A La Fresca &lt;/strong&gt;which is on their &lt;strong&gt;575 calorie or less menu&lt;/strong&gt;. It comes with Rice pilaf which we nixed and added more veggies. it was drizzled with a light Dijon tarragon jus and tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. Let me tell you it was SO good! Maybe&lt;strong&gt; TOO good&lt;/strong&gt; because I had a &lt;strong&gt;bad feeling about today’s weigh in&lt;/strong&gt;. The only things that weren’t on protocol was the mushrooms, squash, and carrots (I didn’t eat the carrots) and the dressing. So all in all.. not too bad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;I woke up feeling quite a bit lighter today&lt;/strong&gt;.. my stomach feels like it is already shrinking and doesn’t feel as full all the time. I don’t feel as bloaty also. I can SEE it in my stomach already in the mirror. It is a good feeling. &lt;strong&gt;Not eating all the sugars, heavy fats and proccessed foods really does make all the difference in the world&lt;/strong&gt; when it comes to your well being. I wish I could get this through my thick head when I’m NOT on protocol. Someday I’ll learn.&lt;/p&gt;

I merely am eating now because I have to. A cup of coffee in the morning takes care of the morning any small amount of hunger I am feeling.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thank God for ketosis. It is an important part of this diet… Without it it would be unmanageable. Sugar free gum also helps keeping the sweet tooth happy. (I love the Extra Dessert flavors… This week it’s Key Lime Pie)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have been mixing 2 veggies with no problems. Onions with asparagus, lettuce with tomatoes, etc. I try to limit it to 2 unless I’m eating out with a salad or something. Tea is also my friend. Black with lemon and sweet n low or passion tea from Starbucks (no syrup, no lemonade, no sugar, add one sweet n low) if I don’t want the caffeine.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Once you pass the first couple days of hunger, this way of eating is quite easy. Don’t be intimidated by it… Everyone who follows it correctly WILL lose weight… I haven’t came across one person who did it (correctly) and didn’t! How is THAT for statistics?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Headache is starting to kick in… I expected this from the cleaning of the sugars… Tylenol is my best friend the first week. My stomach is growling and I am hungry… But once again it is expected. It is almost lunch time and I am looking forward to that. I don’t get as angry at the world as my counterpart does during the first couple days, (you know who you are *evil eye* LOL…) I just try to keep my mind off my hunger and constantly remind myself that this is temporary and it will pass. I go back and read old blogs and YouTube videos to remind myself of my past successes. It helps. Tomorrow is going to be a challenge since I will be at the hospital all day with my mom… I must prepare. Remember… Thinking ahead and preparing ahead of time can mean the difference between success and failure. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So now onto the next phase… VLCD. 500 calories 30 days. It’s a little intimidating when you say it like that… But I only have the first couple days to dread. After that it will be a piece.of.”cake” (for lack of a better word). Its only 11:24 in the morning… And I’m hungry. Gotta keep busy. Gotta keep my head away from food. Gotta drink water.  Gotta remember what I am going to feel like on this diet (great)… And how I’m gonna feel and look after (amazing).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After 2 days of “Loading” I gained 6.4 pounds. Weighed in this morning at 199.4… Oh jezzus!!! Teeter tottering in the verge of 200 is a bit scary and overwhelming. I know this will come off in the first few days.. And continue on from there. My clothes feel extremely tight and am looking forward to this. &lt;/p&gt;
